Pages & Popups

A complete guide to managing pages, popups, and site structure.

The Pages & Popups panel is the central place where you manage, organize, and navigate all content types on your website.

It acts as a live site map and a powerful navigation hub inside Web Studio, allowing you to jump directly to pages, funnels, system pages, and popups with a single click.

This article explains exactly where to find Pages & Popups, what appears in each tab, how to add new content, and how different features (Store, Blog, Portfolio, Funnels) are handled.

Where to Find Pages & Popups

You can always access Pages & Popups from inside Web Studio.

How to open it:

  1. Open Web Studio
  2. Look at the left-hand control bar
  3. At the very top, click Pages

This opens a sidebar showing all available Pages, Store pages, Blog pages, Portfolio pages, Funnels, System Pages, and Popups, depending on what features are enabled on your site.

💡 Hint

Think of this panel as your website’s control center for structure and navigation.

Pages vs Popups – Two Separate Tabs

At the top of the Pages & Popups panel, you’ll see two tabs:

  • Pages
  • Popups

These tabs separate full pages and site structure from overlay content.

💡 Good to know

👉 Everything except popups lives in the Pages tab. The Popups tab only contains popups.

The Pages Tab – What Appears Here

The Pages tab contains all page-based content on your site, including:

  • Page Groups (folders that you can ceate to organize your pages into page groups)
  • Regular website pages
  • Store, Blog, and Portfolio pages
  • Funnels and funnel steps
  • System Pages

What you see depends on:

  • The template you started with
  • Which features you’ve added (Store, Blog, Portfolio, Funnels)

The panel updates automatically as your site grows.

Standard Pages

This section contains your regular website pages, such as:

  • Home
  • About
  • Contact
  • Custom pages you create

Clicking a page opens it instantly in the editor.

Each page has a gear icon that opens its Page Settings, where you control things like Page name, URL, SEO settings, visibility, permissions, and page-specific behavior.

📌 For a full breakdown of all available page setting options, see the separate article: Page Settings.

Page Groups (Folders)

Page Groups are folders used to organize standard pages.

Examples:

  • Legal
  • Resources
  • Landing Pages
  • Internal Pages

Key points:

  • Page Groups are for organization only
  • They do not affect URLs or SEO
  • You can create as many as you want
  • Pages can be moved between groups freely

This is especially useful for large or complex websites.

Store, Blog, and Portfolio

Some features can only exist once per website:

  • Store
  • Blog
  • Portfolio

What this means

  • If your chosen template already includes a Store, Blog, or Portfolio:
    • It will already appear in the Pages tab
    • It will not appear as an option under Add New…
  • You cannot add a second Store, Blog, or Portfolio to the same site

Once added, each feature appears as its own section in the Pages tab.

From there, you can:

  • Open and edit their main pages
  • Access sub-pages (products, blog posts, portfolio items)
  • Open page settings via the gear icon

Funnels in the Pages Tab

All funnels on your site appear in the Pages tab as expandable sections.

Each funnel is listed using the name you gave it and contains:

  • All funnel steps (e.g. Landing Page, Checkout, Thank You)
  • A gear icon for each step’s page settings

This allows you to:

  • Navigate directly to any funnel step
  • Edit funnel pages without switching tools
  • Move seamlessly between pages and funnels

💡 Important note about adding funnels

Funnels are not added from the Pages panel.

They are created:

  • From My Sites & Funnels
  • Or by clicking Funnels in the Web Studio controls on the left

Once created, they automatically appear in the Pages tab.

System Pages

System Pages are built-in pages required for platform functionality.

They cannot be deleted, but they can be customized.

Common system pages include:

  • Page Not Found (404)
  • Not Enough Permissions
  • Page Protected
  • Member Login / Registration
  • Member Details
  • Circles
  • Store Product
  • Store Catalog
  • Cart
  • Store Checkout
  • Order Processing
  • Order Completed
  • Order Cancelled
  • Order Error
  • Download Ordered File
  • Double Opt-In Confirmation

Each system page has a gear icon that opens its page settings.

System pages can and should be edited to match your site’s design, branding, and user experience, ensuring a consistent and professional flow across all member, store, and system interactions.

The Popups Tab – What Appears Here

The Popups tab contains only popups.

Popups are overlays used for:

  • Announcements
  • Opt-ins
  • Promotions
  • Legal notices
  • Exit intent messages

From this tab you can:

  • Create new popups
  • Edit existing popups
  • Open the popup settings
  • Duplicate or delete popups

For a full breakdown on how to create and manage popups, please se this article on popups

Adding New Content

At the top of the Pages & Popups panel, click + Add New….

Available options depend on what already exists on your site:

  • Page – Standard website page
  • Store – Only if a store does not already exist
  • Blog – Only if a blog does not already exist
  • Portfolio – Only if a portfolio does not already exist
  • Popup – Modal or overlay popup
  • Page Group – Organizational folder

💡 Hint

If Store, Blog, or Portfolio already exist, they won’t appear as options—they will already be listed in the Pages tab.

Using Pages & Popups as a Navigation Tool

Beyond management, this panel is designed for speed and productivity:

  • Jump instantly to any page or funnel step
  • Access system pages without searching
  • Switch between pages and popups in one place
  • Navigate complex site structures visually

For larger websites, this becomes one of the most important tools in Web Studio.

Summary

The Pages & Popups panel allows you to:

  • View and manage all pages, funnels, system pages, and popups
  • Add new pages, popups, and page groups
  • Understand which features exist on your site
  • Navigate quickly between all content types
  • Keep your site structured and organized as it grows

Used correctly, it becomes the backbone of content management and navigation inside Web Studio.
