Funnel settings
Funnel Settings control how your funnel behaves, looks, and integrates with the rest of your project.
While funnels can be used in different ways, the General settings are largely the same for all funnels.
What differs is where certain system-level settings live, depending on whether the funnel is:
- Part of a website, or
- Standalone (living on its own domain)
This article explains:
- Where to find Funnel Settings
- How funnel types affect available settings
- General Funnel Settings (shared behavior)
- Key differences between standalone funnels and website-based funnels
- How these settings should be used strategically
Where to Find Funnel Settings
To open Funnel Settings:
- Go to My Websites & Funnels
- Open the Funnels tab
- Locate the funnel you want to configure
- Click the gear icon
- Select Show Settings
This opens the Funnel Settings panel.
Funnel Types and How Settings Are Structured
Funnels That Are Part of a Website
When a funnel is part of a website:
It inherits the website’s system structure
It shares:
- Domain
- Header and footer
- Global scripts and styles
- Some settings are therefore managed in Website Settings instead of Funnel Settings
The funnel still has its own General settings, but fewer additional settings tabs are available.
Standalone Funnels
When a funnel is standalone:
- It has its own domain
- It has its own system structure
- It behaves like a mini website focused on conversion
Because of this, a standalone funnel has:
- The same General settings as a website-based funnel
- Additional settings tabs that are identical to Website Settings (Domains, SEO, Cookies, Apps, etc.)
👉 These additional tabs work exactly the same as Website Settings.
Refer to the Website Settings article for detailed explanations of those sections.
General Funnel Settings (Applies to All Funnels)
The General section works the same way for both standalone funnels and funnels that are part of a website for these settings.
Funnel Name / Title
- Internal name used for organization
- Does not affect URLs
- Especially helpful when managing multiple funnels
Favicon
Icon shown in the browser tab
Recommended sizes:
16×16 or 32×32
Formats:
.ico.png
💡 Tip:
Always set a favicon — even for funnels. It increases trust and brand recognition.
Social Sharing Image
- Used when:
- A funnel page is shared on social media
- No page-specific image is defined
- Acts as a fallback social image
Remove Direct Links to Store Products from Your Funnel
- Prevents visitors from navigating away to product pages
- Keeps users inside the funnel flow
✅ Strongly recommended for sales funnels

- Products in cart
- Order summary
Best for:
- Bundles

Enable Notifications
When a funnel is standalone, it has its own system structure and domain. Because of this, it can handle notifications independently from any website.

Enable Notifications allows you to turn on system notifications related to funnel activity.
Use Dark Theme on Notifications
- Visual preference for the notification UI
- Useful for dark-branded funnels or minimal UI setups
💡 Note:
These notification settings are only available for standalone funnels.
Funnels that are part of a website inherit notification behavior from the website instead.

Inject the Custom Website Code in This Funnel
When a funnel belongs to a website, you can choose whether it should inherit the website’s global code.

When enabled:
Global scripts from the website are injected into the funnel
Includes:
- Analytics
- Tracking pixels
- Chat tools
💡 Tip
Disable this if you want a clean, isolated funnel for testing or performance comparisons.
Standalone funnels do not use this option, since they manage custom code through their own system-level settings (similar to Website Settings).
Set as Homepage
Set as Homepage is available for funnels that are part of a website.

- Allows the funnel to become the website’s root page
This is useful when:
- A funnel temporarily replaces the website homepage
- Running launches or campaigns within an existing site
Standalone funnels do not use this option. This is because a standalone funnel is the system root for its domain, meaning:
- There is no separate homepage to assign
- The funnel entry point is always the first step
Summary
- General Funnel Settings work the same for all funnels
- The difference lies in where system-level settings are managed
- Standalone funnels behave like mini websites
- Website-based funnels inherit structure from the website
Funnel Settings are not just technical controls —
they are strategic levers for conversion, clarity, and scale.
When you understand how these settings interact, you can:
- Build cleaner funnels
- Optimize faster
- Scale with confidence
