Subscriptions – Managing and Monitoring Recurring Revenue

The Subscriptions section gives you a detailed view of all recurring and installment-based payments in your business.

You’ll use Subscriptions to:

  • Track active, finished, and canceled subscriptions
  • Monitor Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR)
  • Analyze churn and retention
  • Manage individual subscriptions
  • Understand performance per subscription product

Where to Find Subscriptions

Navigate to Sales & Analytics → Subscriptions

This opens the Subscriptions dashboard, where all subscription-related data is grouped into analytics and detailed views.

How the Subscriptions View Is Structured

Just like Sales Overview, the Subscriptions section is built around:

1. Global filters & controls (top section)

This section controls what data is shown across all cards, charts, and tables below.

It includes:

  • Filters
  • Date picker
  • Store or funnel selector
  • Tab navigation
    • Analytics
    • Subscriptions
    • Churn
    • Products

Any change here instantly updates everything below.

  1. Analytics content (cards, charts, tables)

Based on your selected filters and chosen tab, this section displays for example:

  • KPI cards (e.g. New Subscriptions, New MRR, Churn, ARPU )
  • Revenue charts
  • Subscription and MRR insights
  • List of all subscriptions

Filters (Refine your subscription data)

You can filter your subscription data to focus on specific products, customers, or recurring revenue scenarios.

Supported filter logic

  • Filters currently support AND logic only
  • All applied filters must be true for a subscription to be included

Common filter examples

You can filter subscriptions by:

  • Subscription product
  • Customer attributes

You can add, remove, or hide filters at any time.

Date Picker (Time range selection)

The date picker controls which time period your subscription data is pulled from.

Available options

  • Today
  • Yesterday
  • Last 7 days
  • Last 14 days
  • This month
  • All time
  • Custom (select a start and end date)

Use this to

  • Compare recent subscription growth vs historical data
  • Analyze churn trends over time
  • Track MRR changes month over month
  • Review the impact of launches or pricing changes

Store & Funnel Selector

Next to the date picker, you can choose which part of your business to analyze.

Options

  • The whole store – Includes all subscription products across your website
  • Specific funnels – Limits data to subscriptions originating from a single funnel

This allows you to

  • Analyze subscriptions across your entire business
  • Deep dive into a single funnel’s subscription performance
  • Compare subscription behavior between different funnels

Subscriptions Tabs Overview

The Subscriptions section contains four tabs, each with a specific focus.

  • Analytics Tab – Provides an overview of subscription performance, including new subscriptions, MRR, revenue, and trends over time.
  • Subscriptions Tab – Shows all individual subscriptions, where you can view details and manage each subscription directly.
  • Churn Tab – Displays canceled and finished subscriptions, helping you analyze churn and retention over time.
  • Products Tab – Breaks down subscription performance by product, including MRR contribution and subscription distribution.

Analytics Tab

The Analytics tab gives you a high-level overview of your subscription business performance for the selected time period and scope (date range and store/funnel). Together, the Analytics tab provides a clear snapshot of how your subscription business is performing, combining high-level KPIs with visual trends and detailed revenue insights.

Top summary cards

At the top of the view, you’ll find four key metrics that summarize subscription activity.

These cards update dynamically based on the date picker and selected store or funnel.

  • New Subscriptions

Shows how many new subscriptions were created during the selected period.

  • Cancellations (Churn)

Displays the number of subscriptions that were canceled in the same period.

  • New MRR

Represents the net new Monthly Recurring Revenue generated from new subscriptions.

  • Revenue

Shows the total revenue generated from subscriptions during the selected time range.

Subscriptions & Revenue chart

The main chart visualizes subscription performance over time.

  • Bars represent subscription revenue per period (e.g. per month).
  • Line graph shows the trend in subscriptions or revenue growth/decline over time.
  • The chart helps you quickly spot patterns such as growth, stagnation, or drops in subscription performance.

This view is especially useful for:

  • Tracking subscription growth over time
  • Comparing monthly performance
  • Identifying trends or seasonality

Right-side summary panel (independent metrics)

On the right side of the chart, you’ll find a detailed breakdown of key subscription metrics.

  • Total MRR

The current Monthly Recurring Revenue from active subscriptions.

    Also shows:

    • Number of active subscriptions
    • Number of completed subscriptions
  • ARPU (Average Revenue Per User)

The average monthly revenue per subscriber, based on active subscribers.

  • Total Cancellations

The total number of canceled subscriptions, including the churn percentage.

These metrics give you deeper insight into subscription quality, retention, and revenue efficiency –independent of of the filters and date selection.

Subscriptions Tab

The Subscriptions tab gives you a detailed overview of all active, completed, and historical subscriptions. From here, you can monitor individual subscriptions, review payment status, and manage ongoing billing cycles.

This view is designed for operational control rather than high-level analytics.

Subscription Table Overview

Each row in the table represents a single subscription and includes the following columns:

  • Name

Displays the customer’s name and email address, making it easy to identify who the subscription belongs to.

  • Product

Shows the name of the product the customer is subscribed to.

  • Price

The recurring charge amount per billing cycle, displayed in your store’s currency.

  • Cycle

Shows how the subscription is billed, depending on the subscription type:

    • Ongoing subscriptions

Display only the billing frequency, for example:

      • Monthly
      • Yearly

To see the full payment history for an ongoing subscription, click the settings icon to open the Subscription Management panel.

    • Installment plans

Display both the billing frequency and payment progress, for example:

      • Monthly: Payment 3 of 6
      • Yearly: Payment 1 of 2
  • Last Payment

Displays the date and time of the most recent successful payment.

  • Next Payment

Shows the scheduled date for the next charge.

If the subscription is finished, this field will be empty.

  • Actions (Settings Icon)

Clicking the settings (gear) icon opens the Subscription Management panel for that specific subscription.

Subscription Management Panel

When you open a subscription from the Subscriptions tab, the Subscription Management Panel appears.

This panel gives you a detailed overview of the subscription’s current status, billing setup, and performance.

It is designed for operational management — letting you review subscription details at a glance and make controlled adjustments when needed.

  • Subscription Status

Displayed at the top of the panel, this shows the current state of the subscription:

    • Active – The subscription is ongoing and payments are still being processed.
    • Expired – The subscription ended because a scheduled payment was not completed.
    • Finished – All scheduled payments have been completed (typically for installment plans).

This gives you immediate clarity on whether the subscription is still charging or has ended.

  • Cycle

Shows the billing structure and frequency of the subscription (for example, Monthly or Yearly).

This field reflects whether the subscription is ongoing or based on a fixed number of payments.

  • Price

The amount charged per billing cycle, displayed in your store’s currency.

  • Last Payment

Displays the date of the most recent successful payment.

This field is read-only and helps verify recent billing activity.

  • Next Payment

Shows the scheduled date and time for the next charge.

If the subscription is finished, this field will be empty.

  • Revenue Generated

This value updates automatically as payments are completed.

  • Recurring Payments

Displays how many payments have been completed versus the total number of scheduled payments, for example, 6 / 6.

For ongoing subscriptions, the payment count is not shown directly in the table view.

To see full payment details, open the Subscription Management Panel.

  • Product

Displays the product associated with the subscription.

Click View to open the product details.

  • Start Date

This field is informational and cannot be edited.

  • Customer

Displays the customer’s name and email address linked to the subscription.

Click View to open the customer profile and see additional activity and details.

Editing a Subscription

Some fields in the Subscription Management Panel can be edited.

When you click Edit on any editable field, the Edit Subscription popup opens.

This popup allows you to make precise, intentional changes to the subscription’s billing setup.

What you can edit

  • Billing Cycles

You can choose how the subscription is structured:

    • Ongoing Payments – The subscription continues indefinitely until canceled.
    • Fixed Installments – Choose a specific number of payments (from 1 to 52).
  • Charge Frequency

Set how often the customer is charged:

    • Every 1–12 weeks, or
    • Every 1–12 months

This allows you to switch between different billing intervals or adjust an existing schedule.

  • Price

You can enter any numerical value to change the price per billing cycle.

This gives you full flexibility to adjust pricing for an existing subscription.

  • Next Payment

You can change the next payment date and time using the date picker:

    • Select any future date
    • Adjust the exact time of the charge

This is useful for postponing payments, aligning billing with agreements, or correcting schedules.

Saving or discarding changes

Once you’ve reviewed and edited the subscription details:

  • Click Save to apply your changes.
  • Click Cancel to discard edits and keep the current subscription setup.

This structure gives you full control over subscriptions while keeping changes explicit, traceable, and intentional – making subscription management both powerful and safe.

⚠️ Changes affect future billing only and should be made carefully.

Typical Use Cases for the Subscriptions Tab

  • Monitor active and completed subscriptions
  • Check payment progress for installment plans
  • Adjust billing schedules or prices for specific customers
  • Review subscription-level revenue
  • Access customer or product details quickly

The Subscriptions tab is your central place for managing recurring revenue at an individual subscription level — giving you full visibility and control without affecting overall analytics views.

Churn Tab

The Churn tab provides a detailed view of subscriptions that have ended. This includes subscriptions that have completed all scheduled payments as well as subscriptions that expired due to failed or cancelled payments.

This view helps you understand when and why customers stop paying, and which products or billing setups are most affected.

Table columns explained

  • Name

Shows the customer’s name and email address associated with the subscription.

This makes it easy to identify who churned and follow up if needed.

  • Product

Displays the product the customer was subscribed to.

Use this to spot patterns across specific offers, pricing models, or subscription lengths.

  • Price

The price charged per billing cycle for the subscription.

This helps you analyze whether churn is more common at certain price points.

  • Cycle

Shows the billing cycle and structure of the subscription, for example:

    • Monthly
    • Yearly
    • Monthly – Payment 3 of 6

This indicates whether the subscription was ongoing or part of an installment plan when it ended.

  • Last Payment

Displays the date and time of the last successful payment.

Useful for understanding how long the customer stayed active before churn.

  • Expired On

Shows the exact date and time when the subscription ended.

  • See when subscriptions typically end in their lifecycle
  • Analyze which products, prices, or billing cycles have the highest drop-off

  • Support retention and pricing decisions with real subscription data

The Churn tab focuses on historical insight and trend analysis, complementing the active and operational views found in the Subscriptions tab.

Subscription Products Tab

It’s especially useful for comparing offers, pricing models, and billing structures across your business.

Table columns explained

Displays the name of each subscription product.

This allows you to quickly identify which offers are generating subscriptions and revenue.

Use this to measure demand and initial conversion for each offer.

  • Canceled

Displays both the number and percentage of subscriptions that were canceled before completion.

This is a key indicator of churn and customer satisfaction for a specific product.

  • Finished

Shows how many subscriptions have completed all scheduled payments.

This is particularly relevant for installment plans and fixed-length subscriptions.

  • MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue)

Displays the current Monthly Recurring Revenue generated by the product.

Only active, recurring subscriptions contribute to this number.

  • % of All Subscriptions

Shows how large a share of your total subscription base each product represents.

This makes it easy to see which products dominate your recurring revenue mix.

How to use the Subscription Products tab

Use this view to:

  • Compare subscription performance across products
  • Identify top-performing and underperforming offers
  • Spot products with unusually high cancellation rates
  • Understand which subscription products drive the majority of your MRR
