Account settings

The Account Settings section lets you manage your personal account details used across the platform. From here, you can update your name, email address, password, interface language, or permanently delete your account.

These settings apply to your user account, not to a specific project.

Where to Find Account Settings

To access your account settings:

• Click Dashboard in the top-right navigation
• Click Account

This will take you to the Account Settings view. Changes made here affect how you log in and interact with the platform across all projects where you have access.

Account Information Overview

On the Account Settings page, you can manage the following details:

Name

• First and Last Name
• Used to identify you across the platform (e.g. admin lists, invoices, support)
• Update this if your name has changed or needs correction

Email Address

• Used to log in and receive system notifications
• Make sure this email is correct and accessible
• If you are an admin on multiple projects, using the same email address is required to switch seamlessly between them

Language

• Select the language for the admin interface

  Currently supported:

  • English
  • Swedish

This setting controls:

• The dashboard
• Editors and admin views
• System labels and menus

Change Password

• Set a new password (minimum 6 characters)
• Enter the new password and repeat it to confirm
• Recommended if you suspect compromised access or want to improve security

Saving Changes

After making any updates, click Save Changes.

Deleting Your Account

At the bottom of the page, you’ll find the option to delete your account.

Before deleting:

• Make sure you understand that this affects your user account
• You will lose access to all projects where you are an admin or contributor
• Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone

If you are the project owner, ownership should be transferred before deleting your account.

Best Practices

• Keep your email address up to date to avoid login or notification issues
• Use a strong, unique password
• Set your preferred interface language for a smoother workflow
• Always save changes before leaving the page
