Video Hosting: Supported Formats & Plan Limits

Upload and host videos directly in Recrevio for use on your website, in funnels, and inside Circles. Before uploading, check the supported formats and limits below.

Supported video formats

Recrevio supports most video file formats, including:

Format Common file extensions
MP4 .mp4
MOV / QuickTime .mov
MKV / Matroska .mkv
MPEG .mpeg  , .mpg
3GPP .3gp
3GPP2 .3g2
Ogg Video .ogv
Motion JPEG 2000 .mj2

These are examples, not a complete list. If your format is not listed, it may still be supported.

A file’s extension identifies its format, but videos can also use different encodings within that format. If a file fails to upload, contact support with its format and any error message so we can investigate.

Maximum file size

Each video file can be up to 5 GB.

This limit applies to all subscription plans and all video hosting add-ons. Upgrading your plan or adding video capacity does not increase the maximum file size.

Video limits by plan

Your subscription determines how many videos you can host and the maximum length of each video.

Plan Hosted videos included Maximum length per video
Launch 10 1 hour
Leverage 20 3 hours
Lead 50 3 hours
Limitless Unlimited 3 hours

The duration limit applies to each individual video, not the combined duration of your video library.

Each video must meet both requirements: a maximum file size of 5 GB and a duration within your video tier’s limit.

For example, a 2-hour video under 5 GB fits within Leverage’s limits, but exceeds Launch’s 1-hour duration limit.

Video hosting add-ons

You can extend your video capacity with a video hosting add-on without changing your base subscription.

If you have an active add-on, your available video capacity and maximum video duration depend on the video tier it provides. Check the add-on details under Dashboard → Billing.

The 5 GB limit per file always applies, including with an add-on.

Hosted videos vs. embedded videos

The video counts above apply to videos uploaded and hosted directly in Recrevio.

Videos hosted elsewhere, such as on YouTube or Vimeo, and embedded through a video link do not count toward your hosted-video allowance. Their upload limits are determined by the external hosting provider.

Having trouble uploading?

Start by checking:

  • File size: Is the file no larger than 5 GB?
  • Video length: Is it within your video tier’s duration limit?
  • Available capacity: Have you reached your hosted-video allowance?

If everything is within the limits and the upload still fails, contact support with:

  • The file format and size.
  • The video’s duration.
  • A screenshot of any error message, or a description of what happens.

We can then help investigate and, if needed, ask you to share the file for testing.
