Circles Overview

Circles are the foundation for delivering courses, memberships, and community-based experiences in Recrevio. This article walks you through how to create, access, and manage circles, as well as how to understand the different actions and views available from the Circles overview.

Accessing Circles

Navigate to Circles > All Circles

This is the main overview where all your existing circles are listed. If you haven’t created any circles yet, you’ll see an empty state with an option to get started.

All circles

When one or more circles exist, they are displayed in a list. Each circle row gives you access to multiple actions and views.

From this view, you can:

  • Create new circles
  • Enter existing circles to edit content and structure
  • Publish or unpublish the circle
  • View analytics, members, and content insights for each circle
  • Manage circle-specific settings

Creating a New Circle

From the Circles overview, click Add Circle or Create Your First Circle.

When creating a circle, you will:

  1. Choose whether to start from one of our Circle templates or from an Empty Circle
  2. Give your circle a name
  3. Create the circle

Once created, the circle opens automatically.

πŸ’‘ Tip – build, design, style and structure your circle

πŸ‘‰ For detailed instructions on how to build, design, style and structure your circle content, refer to dedicated articles on each topic:

Entering a Circle (Editing Content & Design)

To edit a circle, simply click anywhere on the circle row.

This opens the circle editor, where you can:

  • Create and organize content
  • Build modules, lessons, or community areas
  • Design the learning or membership experience
  • Work on structure and flow

This is where you actively build and maintain what members see inside the circle.

Circle Analytics

Each circle has an Analytics icon.

Clicking this icon opens an insights view with three tabs:

  • Analytics
  • Members
  • Content

πŸ’‘ Note

You can also access the Analytics tab directly from within a circle by using the top navigation controls while editing that specific circle.

Analytics

The Analytics tab gives you access to performance insights for a specific Circle, including member activity, engagement, and revenue.

Instead of being a standalone analytics system, this view is directly connected to the Circles Dashboard. It allows you to quickly zoom in on one Circle while using the same metrics, charts, and filters as the Circles Dashboard.

From the Analytics tab for a Circle, you can:

  • Review growth, engagement, and revenue trends for that specific Circle
  • See how the Circle contributes to your overall ecosystem
  • Switch time ranges to analyze short-term or long-term performance
  • Monitor subscription-related metrics if the Circle is membership-based

All data shown here can be filtered using the time range selector, making it easy to compare performance over different periods.

πŸ’‘ Important

The Analytics tab here shows Circle-level data aggregated across all members.

If you need deeper, member-specific insights (such as individual progress, access, or behavior), you should open the Member Profile instead.

πŸ‘‰ For a complete breakdown of all available metrics, charts, filters, and how to interpret them, refer to the dedicated article: Circles Dashboard.

Members

Shows all members associated with the circle, organized by status.

  • Enrolled
  • Completed
  • Paid
  • Banned
  • Muted
  • Access Requested

This view helps you manage and monitor member activity and access. From here, you can:

  • Select individual members to dive deeper into their activity, purchases, and interactions.
  • Analyze detailed insights, allowing you to tailor your content and optimize the member experience.

This tool makes it easy to track engagement, offer personalized support, and strengthen connections within your Circle.

Once you select a member from the list, you’ll gain access to a detailed Circle Member Profile view, providing valuable insights into their engagement and activity within your Circle.

Content

The Content tab provides insights into how members interact with content inside a Circle, focusing on engagement, learning progress, and monetization.

Just like Analytics, this view is aligned with the Content section in the Circles Dashboard and follows the same structure and logic. It allows you to analyze content performance for one Circle at a time while using the same metrics and filtering options described in the Circle Overview article.

From the Content tab, you can:

  • Review learning progress for structured content (Tracked Content)
  • Analyze purchase behavior and conversion for paid content (Paid Content)
  • Identify drop-off points, low-completion modules, or underperforming lessons
  • Evaluate which content drives the most engagement and revenue

All data shown here can be filtered using the time range selector, making it easy to compare performance over different periods.

πŸ’‘ Important

Content insights here are aggregated across all members of the Circle.

If you need to understand how a specific member interacts with content, you can open that member’s Member Profile and review their individual content progress in detail.

πŸ‘‰ For a full explanation of Tracked Content, Paid Content, completion rates, and optimization strategies, see: Circles Dashboard.

Circle Settings (Cog Icon)

Each circle has one settings area, accessed via the cog icon on the right side of the circle row. Important to note that these settings are circle-specific.

Use Circle Settings to:

  • Duplicate – Create a copy of the circle (useful for reuse or testing)
  • Preview – See the circle as a member would see it.

    πŸ’‘ Note

Please not that if you have applied access levels you need to create a user given the neccessary access to preview the circle, its page groups and pages.

  • Copy Link – Copy the direct link to the circle
  • Publish / Unpublish – Control whether the circle is visible and accessible. You can publish or unpublish a circle at any time.
  • Delete – Permanently remove the circle

Summary – How Everything Fits Together

  • Click the circle row β†’ Edit content, structure, and design
  • Click the Analytics icon β†’ View Analytics, Members, and Content insights
  • Click the Cog icon β†’ Open Circle Settings

This clear separation between editing, insights, and settings makes it easy to scale and manage multiple circles as your business grows.
